Gavin R. Castro is a Partner at OJ Advocates LLP and the team lead for Policy, Legal Compliance, Legislative Drafting & Training Practice Areas. Castro’s legal expertise is concentrated in areas of Constitutional and Human Rights Law, Environmental Law, Technology Law, Labour Law, and Family Law. Gavin brings on board extensive experience in legislative drafting and execution of cross-cutting legal consultancy services for both the public and private sectors.
His work has been instrumental in supporting state law-making initiatives and private sector compliance with the law and regulatory frameworks. Gavin’s strengths lie in his ability to provide cross-cutting legal guidance and expert advice to clients, drawing from his wealth of experience. Gavin is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya and holds an LL.B and LL.M from the University of Nairobi, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
