Mr. Joseph Karanja has been in legal practice for over 11 years. He offers a wealth of experience and technical know-how particularly in the insurance sector where he worked as in-house counsel for more than 10 years. He is a passionate practitioner of corporate and commercial law. He firmly believes in offering clients sustainable solutions by attending to their briefs diligently and with great passion for results.
He aspires to expand his practice areas to include the field of technology particularly with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to keep up with the global changes and provide clients with solutions in emerging areas of the law. Mr. Karanja is a graduate of the University of Nairobi (LL.B), holds a post-graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya) Branch and holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).
Mr. Karanja’s areas of specialty include Insurance Law, Corporate & Commercial Litigation, and Commercial Arbitration & Mediation, and is the in-house counsel for OJ Advocates LLP for Insurance where he has over 10 years experience.
